That's the feature I want most before I move up. For the life of me, I don't know why disabling pre-rendering isn't a global option. ![]() Really, there are some of us who just don't need track folders or the meter bridge or the VI's, and who don't want to have to remember to set every newly instantiated plug-in to always run in real-time. But I'm perfectly happy to remain where I am, with everything working, for now, until I see an absolutely dire need to move up. What I am pointing out is that 4.61 is working well - for me. I think it is misleading to say it will definitely work well for everybody. I am glad DP 5x is working great - but the point you make is that it is working great "for you". ![]() There are lots of users here doing quite well w 5.1x on PowerPC. It is incorrect to suggest that the universal binary was not "written" for powerPC as well as intel. DP 5x is aimed at Intel Mac users, and Intel Mac users need it.ĥ.1x works great on my powerpc system - better than 4.61 did.
